We know families are interested in knowing what school will look like for their student and what rights and responsibilities they have. You are invited to review the Jeffco Public Schools Student Family Handbook with your student and refer to as needed. This handbook details Jeffco’s policies, procedures, and student expectations. South Lakewood Elementary
Our Code of Conduct presentations at South Lakewood Elementary contain important items from our Jeffco Public Schools Student Family Handbook that we feel are critical for our elementary students to learn and be aware of during the school day. Student safety is our number one priority at South Lakewood Elementary. As a school, we hold presentations for all classrooms in all grades at the beginning of the school year and again in January, when students return from winter break. We share our Code of Conduct presentations with new students during the school year. We also hold presentations and conversations about the Code of Conduct as needed during the school year with students and classes to discuss any issues that arise that might need to be addressed.
