School Accountability Committee

The purpose of the School Accountability Committee (SAC), is to serve in an advisory role to the principal of South Lakewood Elementary. The mission of the committee is to foster parent and staff involvement in working together towards enhancing and improving the quality of education and school environment for all students of South Lakewood Elementary.

The committee advises on an as-needed basis with the budget, school safety, climate and culture of the school community, Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) and school improvement efforts.

The SAC helps to establish communication links within the school community. The committee is represented by the school community; including parents, administrators, teachers and community members.
