Meet the Principal

 

Dear South Lakewood Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am honored and excited to join the South Lakewood community as your Interim Principal.

For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of serving students, families, and educators in a variety of roles in Jeffco, but throughout my career, one belief has remained constant: every child deserves to feel known, valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Outside of school, I have 3 kids, with our youngest a freshman at Ralston Valley HS. I love camping, music, friends and family, and travel.

This year, our school theme is Wild About Learning: Unleashing Our Potential. Together, we will foster a culture where curiosity is celebrated, learning is joyful, and every student is encouraged to discover their strengths, persevere through challenges, and grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our work will continue to be guided by South Lakewood's motto, All One, Each One. To me, this means that we are one school community working together toward a common purpose while recognizing and supporting the unique strengths and needs of every child. When we work in partnership—students, families, and staff—we create the conditions for every learner to thrive.

Whether you are returning to South Lakewood or joining us for the first time, thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. I am excited for the year ahead and look forward to getting to know each of you.
